Slime Co Private Party Terms, Waiver & Release

Please read carefully. By booking a private party or signing below, you agree to these terms.

1. Booking & Deposit

A $100 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your party date and time. Your booking is not confirmed until the deposit is received. The deposit will be applied toward your party's total balance. The remaining balance is due on the day of the party.

2. Cancellation Policy (48 Hours)

• Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the party start time: The $100 deposit is forfeited. No additional charges apply.
• Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the party start time, or no-shows: The deposit is forfeited, and you will be charged the full party balance for your booked guest count.
• Rescheduling: Requests made at least 48 hours in advance may be rescheduled one time to an available date within 60 days, and your deposit will transfer, subject to availability. Requests made less than 48 hours in advance are treated as cancellations.
• Guest count: Your final guest count is due 48 hours before the party. You will be charged for the confirmed count even if fewer guests attend. Additional guests may be added on the day if space and materials allow, at the per-guest rate.
• Cancellations by Slime Co: If we must cancel due to an emergency, mall closure, or other circumstances within our control, you will receive a full refund, including your deposit, or the option to reschedule.

3. Party Timing

Parties begin and end at the scheduled times. Late arrivals will not extend the party. Please arrive 10 minutes early for check-in.

 

4. Supervision & Conduct

At least one parent, guardian, or designated adult must remain on-site for the entire party. The party host is responsible for supervising their guests. Slime Co staff lead the activity but do not act as childcare providers. Slime Co may ask any guest who behaves unsafely or disruptively to leave, without refund.

5. Outside Food, Decorations & Property

Outside food, cake, drinks, and decorations are welcome. The host is responsible for any damage to Slime Co property caused by party guests beyond normal use, and for removing their food, decorations, and personal items at the end of the party.

6. Acknowledgment of Risks

I understand that slime-making is a hands-on activity involving materials that may include glue, activator solutions (which may contain sodium tetraborate/borax, saline, or contact lens solution), fragrances, colorants, glitter, beads, foam, and other add-ins. I understand that participation involves risks including, but not limited to:

• Skin irritation, rashes, or allergic reactions
• Eye irritation if slime or ingredients contact the eyes
• Illness if slime or ingredients are ingested
• Choking hazards from small add-ins such as beads, charms, and foam balls
• Slips, trips, or falls in the store
• Staining or damage to clothing, shoes, hair, furniture, carpets, or personal belongings

Slime is not edible and not intended for children under [3/5] years old. Children must wash their hands after playing with slime. Slime should be stored in its container and kept away from fabric, carpet, and hair.

7. Allergies & Health

I am responsible for informing Slime Co staff, before the party begins, of any known allergies or skin sensitivities for my child. I understand that Slime Co cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment, and that ingredients and add-ins are shared across the store. I will not let my child participate if I believe they may react to any materials.

8. Assumption of Risk & Release of Liability

On behalf of myself and the minor(s) listed below, I voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation in Slime Co activities. To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release, waive, and agree not to bring claims against Slime Co,  SlimeCo LLC, its owners, employees, and agents for any injury, illness, loss, or damage arising from participation in the party or presence on the premises, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.

9. Medical Authorization

In the event of an emergency where I cannot be reached, I authorize Slime Co staff to seek emergency medical treatment for my child and agree to be responsible for any related costs.

 

11. General

This agreement is governed by the laws of the state where the party takes place. If any part of it is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. This agreement applies to the party date listed and any rescheduled date.
